Awareness Camps to Self Help Groups (SHGs)

One team, One dream, Building a Better Tomorrow, Today.

With a primary objective to reduce poverty and to empower vulnerable women, we are mobilizing and training confined women to their homes. We approach, motivate and form them into Self Help Groups (SHG’s).  These newly enrolled women as members are built their capacities by providing them training in thrift Savings to gain economic independence, book keeping, maintenance of cash registers, internal lending systems to acquire self-reliance in financial literacy and SHG management.

These members are motivated to develop the habit of saving and managing micro-credit within their groups. All the newly formed groups are encouraged and facilitated to collectively approach banks with their savings to access credit from financial institutions for starting small business enterprises. This initiative marks the first step toward women’s empowerment and emancipation in the Prakasam and Nellore districts of Andhra Pradesh, India.
