Elderly Home, Health and Care Programme to care for those who once cared for us.
The biggest achievement of medical history in the universe is longevity. All over the world life expectancy has risen leading to a sharp rise in the number of older people. Beside the increasing number of nuclear families in society and with fewer children in the family, the care of older persons in families are increasingly becoming difficult and abandoned by their children. Therefore, it is necessary to safeguard the elderly people who are absolutely neglected, ill-treated and vulnerable. These abandoned elders are eyesight, orthopaedic, back strains, nutrition and in some cases asthma or other respiratory problems.
We are striving to fill the gaps for 30 abandoned elders. We are taking care, providing much-needed services and support to these aged elders at our Day Care Centre for Aged, Yanadi Colony, Kanigiri Mandal, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, India. We are working and providing Food, Shelter, Clothing, Medical Counselling,Winter Woolen Wear, Blankets, Beds and Sheets, Footwear, Mosquito Nets etc.,, and other Recreational entertainment.
While understanding their emotional and psychological needs, these elderlyare being made to participate along with us in few of our project areas, where they can benefit to the maximum and interact with each other to live a happier life.
